Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda
We honored the innumerable dead of 2005 who died because of
natural disasters and unnatural injustices, and we remembered Rosa Parks and playwright August Wilson,
as well family and friends who died that year, including Don Manuel Jiménez of Arrazola.

It was another busy year (¿where does the time go?)...In addition to Dia de los Muertos, where we also had an exhibit of works by students from Dillworth Academy for the Arts and Sciences and two local Mexican artists, there were other great events, such as the University of Pittsburghs' Latin American Festival, papel picado workshops for Hispanic Heritage month with Carnegie Mellon University, Colfax Schools' annual festival, several elementary school field trips here in the store and our 2nd Holiday Open House...thanks to everyone who participated, and Feliz Año Nuevo!
We look forward to creating more great new experiences with you in 2006.
